Data Deletion Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

CounselorAid respects your privacy and gives you a way to request deletion of personal data associated with your account, including information received when you use Facebook or another supported social login service to sign in to counseloraid.com.

What data may be associated with social login?

When you choose to sign in using a third-party login provider such as Facebook, CounselorAid may receive basic account information that the provider makes available to the website and that you authorize. Depending on the provider and your permissions, this may include information such as your name, email address, profile identifier, or profile image.

CounselorAid uses this information only to support account creation, authentication, account management, security, and related website functionality. We do not use social-login information to provide a medical diagnosis or make automated clinical decisions.

How to request deletion of your data

You may request deletion of your CounselorAid account and personal data associated with social login by contacting us at admin@counseloraid.com.

  1. Send an email from the address associated with your CounselorAid account.
  2. Use the subject line Data Deletion Request.
  3. Include the email address you use to sign in and, if applicable, state that you used Facebook Login.
  4. Do not send your password, Facebook password, access token, or other login credentials.

We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder before completing deletion. This helps prevent unauthorized deletion requests.

What happens after a deletion request?

After a verified request, CounselorAid will delete or anonymize personal data linked to the relevant website account where deletion is technically and legally appropriate. This may include account profile information and social-login identifiers stored by CounselorAid.

Some limited information may need to be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, backup, or legitimate record-keeping purposes. Any retained information will remain subject to applicable privacy and security requirements and will not be retained longer than necessary for those purposes.

Removing CounselorAid from your Facebook account

You may also remove CounselorAid’s access from your Facebook account through your Facebook settings for apps, websites, and connected services. Removing access from Facebook stops future authentication through that connection, but it may not automatically delete information already stored in your CounselorAid account. To request deletion of data held by CounselorAid, please follow the deletion-request process above.

Facebook data deletion instructions

If you arrived at this page from Facebook or Meta while requesting deletion of information associated with Facebook Login, email admin@counseloraid.com with the subject Facebook Data Deletion Request. Include the email address associated with your CounselorAid account. After identity verification, we will process the request in accordance with this policy.

Third-party data

Deleting data from CounselorAid does not automatically delete information held independently by Facebook, Meta, Google, or another third-party service. Those providers maintain their own privacy and deletion processes. You may need to manage or delete information separately through the relevant provider’s account settings.
