Where should you begin?

Choose the worksheet path that fits your next step

Start with the job you need the resource to do: understand a pattern, practise a skill, or turn reflection into action.

1

I want to understand a pattern

Begin with an assessment, then use a worksheet to record examples, clarify priorities or identify a response.

2

I want to practise a skill

Choose a DBT, CBT, ACT, communication or emotional-wellness worksheet and work through one current situation.

3

I want a plan and follow-up

Pair a worksheet with a coaching tool, select one action and decide when you will review what happened.

Use worksheets effectively

One situation, one exercise, one next step

Worksheets are most useful when they slow down a specific problem enough to make a better response easier to see.

Choose one current situation. Specific examples are easier to work with than broad labels.
Read the instructions first. Check the purpose, time required, evidence status and safety guidance.
Write what is true. Include uncertainty, constraints and competing needs rather than the ideal answer.
Select one next step. A worksheet should change what you notice, practise or do.
Review the result. Note what helped, what did not and whether professional support would be useful.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

These answers clarify formats, evidence claims and when self-guided worksheets may or may not be appropriate.

Are all worksheets downloadable PDFs?

The DBT collection includes downloadable PDFs. Other collections include on-page exercises and may add printable or fillable versions as each resource completes editorial and format review.

Are the worksheets clinically validated?

No single evidence claim applies to the whole library. Each resource should identify whether it is based on an established therapy skill, informed by research, designed for coaching or intended for general self-reflection.

Can I use a worksheet without a therapist or coach?

Many resources are suitable for self-guided reflection. Exercises involving trauma, severe distress, crisis behaviour or complex relationship safety are better used with an appropriately qualified professional.

What is the difference between a worksheet and a coaching tool?

A coaching tool explains a process and helps produce an outcome such as a plan or decision. A worksheet provides a structured place to record and practise that process. Some resources can function as both.

Can professionals use these worksheets with clients?

Professionals should review the full resource, evidence status, attribution, scope and safety guidance before use. A worksheet does not replace professional judgement, informed consent or an appropriate care plan.
